The long list of accomplishments BHS DECA earned at the 2019 Colorado DECA State Conference in February includes being named the 2019 Colorado DECA Chapter of Excellence and being home to two Colorado DECA state officers--Ben Erger, CO DECA District 7 Representative and Camryn Brunson, State Secretary.

Additionally, Brighton High DECA will be sending the following individuals to represent Brighton High and Colorado at the International Career Development Conference in Orlando:
• 1st Place: Community Service Project- Ben Erger, Jazlyn Lopez, and Loni Aragon • 1st Place: Entrepreneurship Promotion Project- Kennedy Waltenburg, Olivia Pearson, Izzy Hawkins • 3rd Place: Creative Marketing Project- Camryn Brunson, Jordan Mahaffey, Jordan Jewsbury • 4th Place: Creative Marketing Project- Cassidy Chambers and Dean Lombardi • 4th Place: Quick Serve Restaurant Management- Jordan Mahaffey • 5th Place: Entrepreneurship Promotion Project- McKenzie Ryan, Ana Valladares, Genesis Compean • 5th Place: Personal Financial Literacy- Gabe Berland
