BHS students earn industry certification

Twenty-three Brighton High culinary students successfully earned their ServSafe Food Handlers Industry Certificate. Earning this certificate verifies basic food safety knowledge and demonstrates that students have competency in the knowledge and skills necessary to enter the hospitality industry. Many BHS students have been hired on the spot because they have their ServSafe FH certificate.

For these students, earning their ServSafe FH certificate has opened a door to success in the workforce by not only demonstrating mastery of industry knowledge but also demonstrating development of post-secondary workforce readiness skills.

We are proud to report that the average score for the class was 92 out of 100!
