27J students attend career fair
How do we help students identify the skills they’ll need for today’s workplace? By giving them opportunities to connect with industry first-hand.
Last week, 27J eighth graders attended the Adams County Career Expo at the National Western Complex to meet with 108 organizations and learn about their opportunities in the workforce of tomorrow. 44 of the booths were led by high school students from 27J and other surrounding districts.
Opportunities like this connect the classroom to the real world and show soon-to-be high schoolers the opportunities available to them as they start to make decisions about this new stage in their life.
