PVHS students defining workforce readiness
Our Career and Technical Education pathways are defining what it means for students to be "workforce ready."
Building trades students from Prairie View High School broke ground on a project they will be working on as a part of the Young Adult and Firefighter Workforce Development Cooperative. This cooperative was started in partnership with South Adams County Fire Department (SACFD) and funded through a grant from Adams County.
As a part of this project, students will build needed apparatus that firefighters can use in their training, such as temporary training structures and props that will help SACFD firefighters strengthen their skillsets and improve the service they deliver to the community.
We're excited to see current and future students impact their community through this cooperative! #IBelievein27JSchools
