RRHS senior receives BJAA scholarship

At 27J, we pride ourselves on building and fostering strong community partnerships that give back to students and the entire 27J community.

One of our partners, the Brighton Japanese American Association (BJAA), offers an annual scholarship to graduating seniors. This year, a Riverdale Ridge High School senior, Hunter Liu, was awarded the scholarship for his distinguished academic performance and community involvement.

“I am honored to be a recipient of the Lucile Knaus Memorial BJAA Scholarship. With this scholarship, I hope to advocate and represent the values of diversity, acceptance, and community spirit that Lucile Knaus once embodied. This scholarship means a lot to me in pursuing my passion of aerospace engineering at CU Boulder” - Hunter Liu
