United Power returns capital credits to 27J Schools
Our partnerships with local businesses strengthen our neighborhood schools and the community.
At our Board of Education meeting in August, United Power representative and 27J board director Tom Green presented 27J with $27,415 in capital credits. Since 1997, United Power has returned more than $462,000 in capital credits to 27J Schools!
As a not-for-profit electric cooperative, United Power provides our district and community electricity at the lowest cost possible and allocates excess earnings back to its members through capital credits.
We are proud to invest in our local electrical system and economy by continuing to partner with United Power.
